Hey all. As for Me, i now use an 80 gb ipod. Before it was my phone and before that is was my sony cd player witch could play mp3 cds. So, what do you all use? i'm just curious. how well do you use it? For me i use my ipod varry well. ok all, have fun.

80 gb ipod? This is amasing. Even bigger than my laptop hartdisk space. I only have 60.
Anyway i don't have an mp3 player. But i use my mobile phone to listen to music when traveling. The headphones provided with it are very good and i have got a 512 memory card and i can put a lot of songs on it. But it doesn't compare to the 80 gb ipod. I like the sound of that.

I was on dell.com today and they sell mp3 players as well not just there own but other brands. There was creative, IRiver, archos, microsoft, and maybe sony. I was trying to find a iriver or archos that would work with the rockbox software, but they didn't seem to be the same models. I have a dell mp3 player but it's impossible to use blind, One heck of a menu system on there and not a lot of ways to memorize it. Generally are the creative ones pretty easy to use?

I have an old Archos Jukebox Recorder20, but I've modded it with an 80GB hard drive. I will be doing it again when the 300GB drives come out.

Oh my gall, we are getting quite the collection of mp3 players around here. I started out with the lexar jump drive sport. It was only 128MB and very very simple. Basicly play, stop, fast forward and rewind. A lock and unlock and a pause.

We've also had an asono, 128MB. Again, very simple and basic. BTW, both of these worked just fine, when you're comparing them to bringing out the old discc mans.

We have an early version of the sandisc sansa, not the new e200.

And now, I have an IPod, so far I'm not too impressed. Haven't memorized it, and the rockbox looks above my figuring it out...lol!

I also, have my lg vx8300 phone, and so far, I like that version of an mp3 player.

I think I'll just start collecting them; lol wait, have I already?

The silly thing is, I still really want to see the Sony bean. It sounds so flippin' cute!

Wow. interesting topics here. I remember back in 2004 I had a 128 mb player as well. Forgot the name of it though. I love my ipo. d. i love it soooo much. It's easy to memorize, and rockbox kinda sucks. it's hard as hell in install. Trust me, i've tryed on an ipod that supported it. anyway, i'm not changin from my ipod anytime soon.

I use an ipod nanno and found that it works very well for me. I count the clicks and can use it good.

Y'all will likely laugh, but, I just got a Move-O Mix 512. It's very simple, basically a 512-mb USB drive. It plays mp3 and protected wma files; not sure what other formats it can handle. I discovered that M4A is not one of them. LOL. The unit has six controls, and needs no menu system or screen.

I've got a creative labs zen nomad jukebox sixty gb player. However, rockbox is not supported. Which blows. I might chuck a higher capacity drive in there though as I've got over 160 gigs of music and approx 40 gigs of audio books currently.

I have a simple memorex mp3 player, no ipod. it's so small, you have to use a head set, which came with it. I can use the play/pause, stop, and skip forward and backwards, and the resume button. there are a few buttons I can't use, such as the display, and search buttons, because thats visual. if i want to listen to a particular otr show, I have to press the skip forward and backwards buttons to find it. I use my mp3 player for listening to my old time radio collection of cds. You don't store anything in it, you just open the little door and press the cd in, push the lid down and hit play/pause and it starts up, then you hit the stop button to stop it.

I use an iPod Shuffle, or at least I will when I figure out how to work the damn thing. lol

I use an Ipod Nanno and it works well. there are a lot of features that I can't use on it, but it's still pretty easy to use if you memorize the clicks.

Post 19 by changedheart421 (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Thursday, 05-Apr-2007 16:18:28

I am searching for an accessible one. Does anyone ahve any uggestions?

Post 20 by Austin (the magic fan!) on Friday, 06-Apr-2007 14:44:53

well. Ipods are good. You have to memorize clicks. But that doesn't bother me.
There are a lot of mp3 players out there you can use.
go to bestbuy or whatever and look at what they have there.
that way you can tell if you'll be able to use it or not.

I use a book currier, it's a bit expencive, but pretty good as the flash cards are easy to get hold of and you can use the flash cards like a book volt. the curieer can also read text documents.
